I know this is an Adam Sandler film, but so what if we have seen this material before, if by the end of the film you laughed and had a good time then thats all a film like this asks for. Adam Sandler is a funny guy and his films are usually routine, wise crack, one liners, that still are funny if not especially memorable. i like his films, but I always know what to expect in a film he's in, which is why I like films like SPANGLISH, where we see a different side to him and show off his unique talents. This film is in the same formula as an Adam Sandler film, with more laughs then you'd expect. I laughed alot. I enjoyed this film, and that's all I ask out of a film like this. So should you go see THE LONGEST YARD, hmmmm let me think......................... "HELL YEAH!"
